Animal for Plan B

This feature film adaptation of Taddeo’s bestselling novel follows a woman who, after the gruesome suicide of her married lover, flees New York City for the sweltering canyons above Los Angeles, where she plots the takedown of a woman from her haunted past.

Rachel Brosnahan to star in limited series “Lois & Varga” based on a short story by Lisa Taddeo, in development at Amazon. Miriam Battye is adapting the story for the screen, with director Halina Reijn attached to helm the pilot. Brosnahan will also executive produce under her Scrap Paper Pictures banner along with Julie Waters, the company’s head of TV and film development. Battye also executive produces along with Reijn and Taddeo.

MGM and Plan B Entertainment have acquired the film rights to No. 1 New York Times bestselling author Lisa Taddeo’s novel Animal, which she will adapt for the screen, marking her feature writing debut.
